Colton Lee Gallup, 19, of Mount Pleasant entered a guilty plea of possession of marijuana, a serious misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, less credit for time served; sentence to run concurrently with a Henry County case. His sentence was suspended on the condition of future good behavior. He was placed on two years probation, which will not terminate until he?s paid all fines and costs and has no further violations of the law. He was ordered to complete a substance abuse evaluation and follow any recommendations. His driver?s license was revoked for 180 days. He was fined $315 plus a 35 percent surcharge, a $10 DARE surcharge, $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge, court appointed attorney fees if any and court costs.
Grant Patrick Curran, 19, of 1201 S. Fifth St., pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, first offense, a serious misdemeanor. He was sentenced to one year in jail that may be satisfied by completing a court-ordered OWI program. All but 48 hours of his sentence was suspended on condition of future good behavior. He was placed on two years probation, must pay all fees and fines and have no further violations of the law. His drivers license was revoked, he must complete a drinking drivers course and pay a $1,250 fine plus a 35 percent surcharge, a $10 DARE surcharge, court appointed attorney fees if any and court costs.
Colt Lane Amborn, 28, of Ottumwa pleaded guilty to no driver?s license, a simple misdemeanor. He was fined $200 plus a 35 percent surcharge and must pay court appointed attorney fees if any and court costs.
Edwin Ralph Cole Blackburn, 26, of Maharishi University of Management, Building 140, Room 322, entered a guilty plea to possession of marijuana, a serious misdemeanor. Brandi Diane House, 21, of 207 S. Second St., Apt. 2, entered a guilty plea and was given a deferred judgment for operating while intoxicated, first offense, a serious misdemeanor. She was placed on one-year probation on condition of good behavior with no further violations of the law. She was ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation, fined $1,250 and ordered to pay court costs, restitution and court appointed attorney fees if any.
