Tracey William Simmons, 31, of Birmingham pleaded guilty to third-degree theft and received a deferred judgment. He was placed on probation for two years. Simmons also must pay a $625 civil penalty and a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge.
Susan Alexandria Kraft, 23, 606 W. Monroe Ave., pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and received a deferred judgment. She must pay a $315 civil penalty and $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. She was put on probation for two years.
Renny Jo McCarty, 21, 1300 W. Jackson Ave., Lot 14, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and received a deferred judgment. McCarty was placed on two years probation and was ordered to pay a $315 civil penalty and a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge.
Robert Andrew Hougher, 61, 2164 West Hills Drive, pleaded guilty to driving while barred as a habitual offender and was fined $625. A 90-day jail sentence was suspended in favor of two years probation.
Logan Shane Champ, 27, 203 N. Ninth St., pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated-first offense and was ordered to enroll in a course for drinking drivers. All but seven days of a 60-day jail sentence was suspended, and Champ was placed on probation for two years. He was ordered to pay a $1,875 fine and a $10 drug abuse resistance education surcharge.
