The following court cases were processed at Jefferson County Courthouse:

Associate District Court

Chase Robert Feagins, 30, of Keosauqua, pleaded guilty in Count I, operating while intoxicated, second offense, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was sentenced to two years in prison, to run consecutively with sentence in Count II. All but seven days were suspended. He was placed on two years probation and his license was revoked. He must successfully complete a drinking drivers course and obtain a substance abuse evaluation within 45 days of judgment. He was fined $1,875 plus a 35 percent surcharge and a $10 D.A.R.E. surcharge. He was ordered to pay restitution, court appointed attorney fees if any and court costs. Another Jefferson County case was dismissed with costs to the defendant per a plea agreement. He was ordered to be fingerprinted, if none are on file with law enforcement.

In Count II, Feagins pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, third or subsequent offense, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was sentenced to two years in prison, to run consecutively with sentence in Count I. His sentence was suspended. He was placed on two years probation. He was fined $625 plus a 35 percent surcharge, a $10 D.A.R.E. surcharge and a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. He was ordered to pay restitution, court appointed attorney fees if any and court costs.

Magistrate Court

Logan Michael Carr, 22, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct and was fined $148.
