Timothy Daniel Fluharty, 33, 206 E. Hempstead Ave., pleaded guilty to possession of a prescription drug or device without a prescription and was fined $315. He also was ordered to pay a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. A 30-day jail sentence was suspended in favor of two years on probation.
Julie Ann Wyatt, 43, 107 N. Sixth St., pleaded guilty to making false reports resulting in a citation and was fined $315. A 60-day jail sentence was suspended in favor of two years probation.
Kimberly Ann Lowery, 46, 2151 155th St., pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated-second offense. She was ordered to pay a $1,875 fine and a $10 drug abuse resistance education surcharge. All but seven days of a 60-day jail sentence was suspended, and Lowery was placed on probation for two years. She was ordered to complete a course for drinking drivers.
Israel Espinoza Jr., 21, of Cedar Rapids pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated-first offense and was ordered to enroll in a course for drinking drivers. He was ordered to pay a $1,250 fine and a $10 drug abuse resistance education surcharge. All but two days of a 30-day jail sentence, and Espinoza was placed on probation for two years.
Jennifer Lynn Brown, 21, of Ottumwa pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while barred as a habitual offender. A 30-day jail sentence was suspended in favor of two years probation. Brown was fined $625.
