Associate District Court
Joseph Hyde, 24, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to domestic abuse assault, a serious misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, less credit for time served. All but four days was suspended. He was given two years probation, ordered to successfully complete an Iowa Domestic Abuse Program within eight months, and fined $315 plus a 35 percent surcharge. He was ordered to pay restitution, court appointed attorney fees if any, and $115 in court costs. Two no contact orders were dismissed and another Jefferson County case was dismissed with costs to the defendant, per a plea agreement. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.
Sabin Joseph Sirdoreus, 22, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, second offense, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, less credit for time served. All but seven days was suspended. He was granted work release. He was placed on two years probation and ordered to follow through with treatment recommendations from a substance abuse evaluation. His license was revoked. He was ordered to successfully complete a drinking driver?s course. He was fined $1,875 plus a 35 percent surcharge, a $10 D.A.R.E. surcharge and ordered to pay court costs and court appointed attorney fees if any. Four more Jefferson County cases were dismissed with costs to him according to a plea agreement. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.
E.B. Joshua Jaurigue III, 25, of Mt. Pleasant, pleaded guilty to public intoxication, third offense, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, less credit for time served. All but five days was suspended and he was placed on two years probation. He was ordered to complete a substance abuse evaluation within 45 days and follow any recommendations. He was fined $625 plus a 35 percent surcharge. He was ordered to pay court appointed attorney fees if any and $137 in court costs. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.
Andrew Oldan Sheehan, 37, of Fairfield, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated, second offense, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, less credit for time served. All but seven days was suspended and he was placed on two years probation. His license was revoked. He was ordered to successfully complete a drinking driver?s course; and obtain a substance abuse evaluation within 45 days and follow its recommendations. He was fined $1,875 plus a 35 percent surcharge and a $10 D.A.R.E. surcharge. He was ordered to pay restitution, court appointed attorney fees if any and court costs. Two other Jefferson County cases were dismissed with costs to him per a plea agreement. He was ordered to be fingerprinted if none are on file with law enforcement.
