ASSOCIATE DISTRICT COURT

Danny Lee Courtney, 55, of Shawnee, Kan., pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and received a deferred judgment. He was put on probation for one year. Courtney was ordered to pay a $315 civil penalty and a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge.

Medel Nohe Gonzalez, 22, of Libertyville pleaded guilty to driving while denied or revoked and was fined $1,000. A 30-day jail sentence was suspended in favor of one year probation.

Isaac Martinez, 30, of Batavia pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while barred as a habitual offender. A 90-day jail sentence was suspended in favor of one year probation. Martinez was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.

DISTRICT COURT

Charles Lavern Stufflebeem, 66, of Ottumwa pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated-first offense and received a deferred judgment. He was put on probation for two years. Stufflebeem was ordered to pay a $1,250 civil penalty and a $10 drug abuse resistance education surcharge.

MAGISTRATE COURT

Eva Nichole Penrod, 26, of Batavia pleaded guilty to simple domestic assault and received a deferred judgment. She was put on probation for one year and ordered to pay a $65 civil penalty.
