Steven Richard Wilson, 62, of 607 E. Adams Avenue pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated first-offense. He was given a deferred judgment with two years? probation; ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation; pay a civil penalty of $1,250; court appointed attorney fee not more than $600; and court costs.
Mindy Mae Wallace, 33, of 402 Washington Avenue, pleaded guilty to simple assault and was given a deferred judgment with one-year probation. She was ordered to participate in a Batterer?s Education Program; pay a civil penalty of $65; court fee; and victim restitution.
Robert Wilson Leppert, 44, of Richland, pleaded guilty to third degree theft and was given a deferred judgment with two years? probation. He was ordered to pay a $625 civil penalty; $125 surcharge; court fees not to exceed $1,200; and restitution.
Jeffery Wayne Langford, 43, of Richland, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, marijuana. He was given a deferred judgment and probation for one year. He was ordered to have a substance abuse evaluation; pay a civil penalty of $315; surcharge of $125; fees of $7,600; and court fees.
Jeffrey Allen Reed, 33, of 709 S. Maple Avenue was judged guilty of assault with intent to inflict serious injury and ordered to two years in jail, which was suspended. He was given two years of probation. He was fined $625 plus a 35 percent surcharge; and ordered to pay court appointed attorney fees not to exceed $1,200.
Robert Ray Snyder, 56, of Ottumwa, pleaded guilty to operating while license barred, habitual offender. He was sentenced to 180 days in Jefferson County Jail, which was suspended and he was placed on two years of probation. He was fined $625 plus a 35 percent surcharge; court appointed attorney fees not to exceed $1,200; and court costs.
MAGISTRATE COURT
Chase Robert Feagins, 28, of 302 E. Piece Avenue #1, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was fined $65 plus a 35 percent surcharge.
