The city of Crawfordsville will holds its annual town celebration this weekend, with a full lineup for Crawfordsville Fun Days.
Crawfordsville Community Club President Roi Felts said the event was full of fun activities.
“They do draw a lot of people into the community, and draw a lot of people in the community out to socialize,” he said. “It’s a good event to get everybody out and about … it’s great.”
Felts said it was one way to keep the culture of small town Washington County alive.
“These little towns, as they turn into bedroom communities, they need something to say, ‘Hey, we’re still here,’” he said. “This just does that for us. We look like we’ll have beautiful weather for it, and look forward to seeing as many people as we can.”
