Crawfordsville man arrested for driving with barred license

A man was arrested and charged with driving while barred, an aggravated misdemeanor, after being stopped by a deputy with the Henry County Sheriff's office on Friday, Jan. 25, around 6:40 a.m.
Paul Harvey Westra, of Crawfordsville, was stopped while driving a black 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 near the intersection of North Iowa Avenue and Highway 218 last week. After an investigation, it was found that Westra was driving while having a barred Iowa driver's license.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
