Crawfordsville woman honored in 10th Annual ‘Ovation: A Tribute to Iowa Women and Girls’

The Iowa Women’s Foundation has unveiled its 10th and final edition of Ovation: A Tribute to Iowa Women and Girls.

The book features tributes to over 100 Iowa women who have made an impact on their families, friends, colleagues and communities.

These women exemplify what it means to be mentors, advocates and role models. They are strong, thoughtful, driven, tireless and generous. These women are Iowa.

Dr. Lois Bartelme was among the women featured in the 2023 Ovation book.

In the past decade, IWF has uplifted and honored more than 700 women and girls across the state of Iowa through the Ovation publication and looks forward to continuing to honor Iowa’s women and girls in new, unique ways in the future.
