Pictured are the Crooked Creek FFA and agriculture education students who attended the Iowa State University Southeast Iowa Research Farm Student Field Day on Thursday, Sept. 6, near Wyman. They are, from left, Kolton Malone, Chase Brown, Travis Jones, Riley Heinzel, Kerry Davis, Neil Davis and Cole Williams. During the field day, students were able to choose from a variety of sessions which included hi-tech crop scouting, lives of bugs, robotic milking, vet and ear tag, wildlife habitat, GPS and auto steer, wildlife management and a presentation about Iowa State University. Many sessions offered hands-on activities paired with the presentation.
