Damages estimated at $8,000 following crash
A two-vehicle collision was reported to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department Friday afternoon, Sept. 2.
The accident occurred during the noon hour at approximately 12:10 p.m. at the intersection of East Washington and the west Hy-Vee entrance.
It was found that Stacy Kempker, no age given, of Donnellson was operating a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, owned by Nancy Kempker of Donnellson.

A two-vehicle collision was reported to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department Friday afternoon, Sept. 2.
The accident occurred during the noon hour at approximately 12:10 p.m. at the intersection of East Washington and the west Hy-Vee entrance.
It was found that Stacy Kempker, no age given, of Donnellson was operating a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, owned by Nancy Kempker of Donnellson.
Kempker was eastbound in the inside lane of East Washington when a 2005 Chevy Impala pulled out into her lane of traffic, causing a collision.
The Impala was operated by its owner, Robert Edlen, no age given, of Kahoka, Mo.
The Edlen vehicle had been facing north from the Hy-Vee entrance lane and attempted to make a left turn onto Washington.
Total damages were estimated at $8,000. No injuries were reported at the scene of the collision.
Edlen was cited for failing to field upon entering through traffic.
