Dancing duo takes first ? twice
Jordan Crooks, 7, left, and Sophie Beenken, 6, right, are pictured with Bill Riley, Jr., after placing first in the Bill Riley Talent Show at Kalona Fun Days with their jazz/acro duet to ?Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.? The next week, they placed first again at Center Pointe?s Pork Days. Both events qualify them to compete in the Bill Riley Talent Show at the Iowa State Fair in August.

Crooks is the daughter of James and Kelly Crooks, and Beenken is the daughter of Craig and Holli Beenken. Both girls attend dance/acro dances at Soul Expressions Dance Studio in Mt. Pleasant. Their routine was choreographed by Holli Beenken.
