Daniel Christy Bike Show announced

The fourth annual Daniel Christy Bike Show will be held on Saturday, July 23, in the 600 block of First Street in downtown Bonaparte. Sponsored by Bonaparte Main Street, Inc., registration is from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. There is an entry fee.

Trophies will be awarded at 2 p.m. Three trophies will be awarded in each of the following categories: Push, pull or haul; sportster, trike; big twin; custom; vintage; foreign; and touring. One trophy will be awarded for each: Best paint; people's choice and best in show.

A poker run will be held in conjunction with the show, with registration between noon and 2:30 p.m. with last bike out at 2:30 p.m. and last bike in at 7 p.m.

Food will be available by the Bonaparte Emergency Medical Services.

Proceeds from the bike show will sponsor a scholarship for students studying tool and die.
