A Danville man was cited for failure to control after his vehicle landed in the a ditch on Monday, July 27.
The Henry County Sheriff?s Office came upon a single-vehicle accident on Highway 34 near mile marker 241 at approximately 12:28 a.m.

A Danville man was cited for failure to control after his vehicle landed in the a ditch on Monday, July 27.
The Henry County Sheriff?s Office came upon a single-vehicle accident on Highway 34 near mile marker 241 at approximately 12:28 a.m.
According to police reports, Waid Oliver, 19, of Danville, was traveling east on Highway 34 when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crossed the median and the westbound lanes of traffic before coming to rest in the north ditch.
Oliver was cited for failure to maintain control, a simple misdemeanor. Damage was estimated over $1,500 and a state accident report was completed.
