Date set for Ward 2 candidate forum

WASHINGTON — The Washington Chamber of Commerce will hold its candidate forum on Jan. 30 at Washington City Hall from 6-7 p.m., in the council chambers.

“We’re looking forward to hosting this event so that the candidates running can share their objectives in serving the public,” Chamber Executive Director Michelle Redlinger said. “We want to provide an opportunity for the community to meet the candidates personally and talk about the issues and priorities that affect them.”

The first half of the event will allow the candidates to answer prepared questions given to them by the Chamber. There will be a short break where we will collect questions from the audience and the second half of the forum will allow the candidates to address these to the attendees.

Those who are unavailable to join in person will be able to join live via Zoom. The forum will also be recorded and shared in the Washington Chamber’s newsletter the following day.
