Deer cause havoc for drivers on Highway 34
On Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at approximately 6:11 a.m., the Henry County Sheriff?s Office responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on Highway 34 near mile-marker 227.
Upon investigation, it was determined a 2006 GMC truck operated by Ryan Shuman, of Kahoka M.o., was traveling west on Highway 34 when he struck a deer. A state accident report was completed and no injuries were reported.

In another accident reported on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at approximately 4:50 a.m., the Henry County Sheriff?s Office responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on Highway 34 near mile-marker 244.
Upon investigation, it was determined a 2003 Buick Century operated by David Ward, of Galesburg, Ill., was traveling east on Highway 34 when he struck a deer. A state accident report was completed and no injuries were reported.
