Deer causes havoc on Highway 34
A vehicle verses deer collision near the intersection of 215 Street and Old Highway 34 ended in nearly $2,000 worth of damage to the vehicle.

A vehicle verses deer collision near the intersection of 215 Street and Old Highway 34 ended in nearly $2,000 worth of damage to the vehicle.
On Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, the Henry County Sheriff?s Office received a call of a car vs. deer collision. According to police reports, Jennifer McVey, 21, of Mt. Pleasant, was driving a Volkswagen Passat east on Old Highway 34 when a deer stepped into the roadway. McVey?s vehicle was able to be driven, but suffered approximately $2,000 worth of damage.
