Deer causes motor vehicle accident
On Sept. 21, the Henry County Sheriff?s Office along with New London Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on Henry-Des Moines Avenue, south of Highway 34. An investigation of the accident determined the driver of the vehicle swerved to miss a deer that had crossed the roadway. Driver of the vehicle, Susan McConnell, 50, of Danville, was uninjured.
