Deer keep causing havoc for drivers
On Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at approximately 6:12 a.m., the Henry County Sheriff?s Office responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on Highway 34, near mile-marker 244.
Chad Ensminger, of Mt Pleasant, had been traveling east on Highway 34, in his 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, when he struck a deer.
According to police reports, two more vehicle versus deer accidents occurred at the same time and location.

On Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at approximately 6:12 a.m., the Henry County Sheriff?s Office responded to a vehicle versus deer accident on Highway 34, near mile-marker 244.
Chad Ensminger, of Mt Pleasant, had been traveling east on Highway 34, in his 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, when he struck a deer.
According to police reports, two more vehicle versus deer accidents occurred at the same time and location.
Daniel Clark, of Mt. Pleasant, operating a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix, and Cory Reusch, of Olds, driving a 2008 Saturn Aura, were both traveling east on Highway 34, near mile-marker 244, when both drivers struck a deer.
State accident reports were completed for all three incidents and no injuries were reported.
Another deer versus vehicle accident occurred on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at approximately 6:07 a.m.
The Henry County Sheriff?s Office responded to the accident on 220 St., near Marsh Ave. Upon investigation, it was determined a 2011 Ford Ranger operated by Todd Spence, of Winfield, was traveling east on 220 St., when he struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported and a state accident report was completed.
