A traffic stop on Friday, April 29, resulted in four charges being filed against a Muscatine motorist.
The Henry County Sheriff?s Office said deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 grid of U.S. Highway 34 at 3:38 a.m.
Upon investigation, the driver of the car, Serena Redmond, 31, of Muscatine, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated/impaired-first offense, a serious misdemeanor; driving under suspension, a simple misdemeanor; improper use of lanes, a simple misdemeanor; and improper use of registration, a simple misdemeanor.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
