Deputies investigate disturbance, theft
Henry County Sheriff?s deputies have investigated a disturbance and a theft this week.
Deputies were notified of a disturbance on July 11, at Geode State Park beach. An investigation revealed that the disturbance began when a male subject was told to stop cursing around small children on the beach.
Garrett Miller, 20, of Burlington, was charged with disorderly conduct, a simple misdemeanor.

Henry County Sheriff?s deputies have investigated a disturbance and a theft this week.
Deputies were notified of a disturbance on July 11, at Geode State Park beach. An investigation revealed that the disturbance began when a male subject was told to stop cursing around small children on the beach.
Garrett Miller, 20, of Burlington, was charged with disorderly conduct, a simple misdemeanor.
On July 10, the sheriff?s office was informed of the theft of a battery powered string trimmer from an open garage in the 200 block of South Main Street in Olds.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Henry County Sheriff?s Office at 385-2712.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
