Deputies investigate vandalism, accident
Henry County Sheriff?s deputies received a report of vandalism and investigated a pickup/deer accident recently.
On Oct. 14, the Sheriff?s Office received a report of vandalism to a mailbox near Whispering Pines Lane.
David Chipman, Danville, reported his mailbox had been shot by a person using a gun. Anyone with any information on this incident should contact the Henry County Sheriff?s Office.

Henry County Sheriff?s deputies received a report of vandalism and investigated a pickup/deer accident recently.
On Oct. 14, the Sheriff?s Office received a report of vandalism to a mailbox near Whispering Pines Lane.
David Chipman, Danville, reported his mailbox had been shot by a person using a gun. Anyone with any information on this incident should contact the Henry County Sheriff?s Office.
A report of a pickup/deer accident was received on Oct. 15.
According to the accident report, Edward Dye, Ottumwa, was driving a 2013 Ford F-150 westbound in the 1300 grid of U.S. Highway 34 when a deer ran out in front of his vehicle.
Dye?s vehicle struck the deer and sustained minor damage. He was able to drive his truck from the accident scene.
