Deputies make arrest, investigate accident
Henry County Sheriff?s deputies made an arrest and investigated a single-vehicle accident over the weekend.
Deputies, on Saturday, Aug. 20, at 4:37 a.m., responded to the 2000 grid of Iowa Avenue for a report of a vehicle parked in the roadway, following a verbal dispute.
Upon investigation, Billy Looney, 24, of Olds was arrested and charged with public intoxication, a simple misdemeanor.

Henry County Sheriff?s deputies made an arrest and investigated a single-vehicle accident over the weekend.
Deputies, on Saturday, Aug. 20, at 4:37 a.m., responded to the 2000 grid of Iowa Avenue for a report of a vehicle parked in the roadway, following a verbal dispute.
Upon investigation, Billy Looney, 24, of Olds was arrested and charged with public intoxication, a simple misdemeanor.
Sheriff?s deputies on Friday, Aug. 19, received a report of a single-vehicle accident in the 2000 grid of Highway 78.
An investigation revealed that a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, operated by Jessica Mayo, 16, of Winfield was traveling east on Highway 78 when Mayo lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle rolled, coming to rest in the south ditch. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at approximately $4,000.
Mayo was cited for no driver?s license and failure to maintain control, both simple misdemeanors.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
