The Ledger?s Student ?Design-An-Ad? program gave Fairfield Community School District and Pekin School students an opportunity to design newspaper advertisements for area businesses. Students combined research, creative writing and design skills to produce 51 advertisements.
Students created their own ads using felt markers or black pens. Computers and photocopies were not allowed.
