Digging a path
Employees from JJD Contracting Co., Inc., of Ft. Madison, have nearly a long block of sidewalk finished on the new sidewalk on the east side of North Cherry Street from Mapleleaf Drive to Baker Street. The sidewalk will provide a walking route for pedestrians going to Walmart. JJD will be paid $59,391 for the work and the completion date for the project is May 6.
