Division I athletes train in Mt. Pleasant
Mt. Pleasant natives Darian Cotton and Jordan Cotton and Winfield native Jon Gerling, all pictured above from left, were all training at the Mt. Pleasant REC Center on Dec. 23, during their Christmas break from college.
Darian Cotton plays football at Iowa State, and Jordan Cotton plays the same sport at the University Iowa. Gerling is on the UNI cross-country and track teams.

It?s not very common to see Division I athletes working out in public, let alone three of them from Iowa?s three NCAA Division I region universities.
