Judges Pam Wagner and Traci Scott critiqued the 22 dogs and their masters in the large showring on a warm summer afternoon. Jessica Schoonover of Crooked Creek was christened the overall grand champion at the dog show. Whitney Gibbs of the Horse and Pony Club was named the overall reserve champion.
Alexey England of Prairie Pride won the dog showmanship portion of the show for first and second year members. Ryan Loy of the Washington Go-Getters was the reserve champion in that category.
Sarah Altenhofen of Limecreek Limelights won top honors in the dog showmanship contest for those members who have been involved for three or more years. Gibbs was the reserve champion in that field.
The pre-novice, first-year dog obedience group was won by Schoonover. Gibbs was named the reserve champion.
England struck gold in the pre-novice group for second-year dogs, winning champion honors. Devin Parker of the Washington Hustlers was right behind England, capturing reserve champion honors.
