Donations sought for Easter egg hunt Saturday
The Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chautauqua Park.
The event is free and is open to all children from pre-school through fifth grade. Children will need to supply their own baskets.
Children will be divided into four groups: preschool; kindergarten and first grade; second and third grade; and fourth and fifth grade.

The Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chautauqua Park.

The park and rec department is requesting donations for the event. Those wishing to donate prizes, wrapped candy and plastic eggs can drop them off at the Roosevelt Aquatic Center. For questions, call Christy Leazer at 472-7088.
In the event of rain on Saturday, the event will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday.
