Doris Marie Ritz Blackburn

Doris Marie Ritz Blackburn, 90, formerly of Selma, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in Carbondale, Ill.

A service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. David Albert and the Rev. Ann Donat officiating. Burial will follow at Iowaville Cemetery in Selma. A luncheon will follow in the Selma United Methodist Church fellowship hall in Selma.

Visitation began at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, where family will be present from 6-7:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Selma United Methodist Church and may be left the funeral home or may be mailed to the family in care of Helen Lambert, 12607 Eagle Drive, Selma 52588.

Mrs. Blackburn was born April 30, 1920, in Davis County, the daughter of Albert A. and Emily E. Quigley Ritz. She married Bruce Eugene Blackburn June 1, 1940. He died March 24, 2000.
