N/A
Apr. 2, 2021 1:00 am
The Mt. Pleasant Fire Department is hosting its annual pancake breakfast Saturday, April 3, from 7-10 a.m. The breakfast will be held at the east end of the Wright Pavilion at McMillan Park/Old Threshers grounds.
To cope with COVID guidelines and social distancing regulations, the breakfast will not be sit down or carry out, but drive up only. The fire department asks that everyone enter the park from Locust Street then follow the gravel road around between the antique tractor area and the steam traction area. Barricades will be set up to help with directions.
The breakfast will be a freewill donation and consist of pancakes, sausage and a choice of milk or orange juice. Proceeds will be used to upgrade one of the fire department's ventilation fans.
Call-in orders will not be accepted as the breakfast is not at the fire station and the department will not have phones to take calls. The fire department will not be setting up tables to eat at, but people are more than welcome to park their vehicles or sit on park benches if they wish to do so.
