Driver charged following mishap near MPCHS
A two-vehicle accident near Mt. Pleasant Community High School Tuesday morning resulted in charges being filed against one of the drivers.
Jonathan Lee, 21, was cited for driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway following an accident on Grand Avenue near East Bell Drive.

A two-vehicle accident near Mt. Pleasant Community High School Tuesday morning resulted in charges being filed against one of the drivers.
Jonathan Lee, 21, was cited for driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway following an accident on Grand Avenue near East Bell Drive.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, Lee?s car was northbound on Grand Avenue when it crossed the center line and struck a southbound vehicle being operated by Kieran Kohorst, 15, of Mt. Pleasant.
The Lee vehicle entered the west ditch before coming to a rest. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were considered a total loss.
