Driver cited following two-vehicle accident
One driver was cited following a two-vehicle accident on Saturday, June 18, in the 800 block of East Washington Street in Mt. Pleasant.

One driver was cited following a two-vehicle accident on Saturday, June 18, in the 800 block of East Washington Street in Mt. Pleasant.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, a 2013 Ford, owned and operated by David Harrison, of Keokuk, was stopped and waiting to make a left turn when a 2003 Nissan Altima, owned and operated by Yvonne Hollenbeck, of Mt. Pleasant, ran into the back of the Harrison vehicle.
Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $5,000 and no injuries were reported.
Hollenbeck was cited for failure to stop in an assured, clear distance.
