Driver faces charges in two-vehicle crash
A two-vehicle accident on Sunday, Aug. 14, in the 1400 grid of U.S. Highway 218 resulted in charges being filed against one of the drivers.
According to the Henry County Sheriff?s Office, Benjamin Coe of Orion, Ill., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated-first offense, a serious misdemeanor, and following too closely, a simple misdemeanor.

A two-vehicle accident on Sunday, Aug. 14, in the 1400 grid of U.S. Highway 218 resulted in charges being filed against one of the drivers.
According to the Henry County Sheriff?s Office, Benjamin Coe of Orion, Ill., was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated-first offense, a serious misdemeanor, and following too closely, a simple misdemeanor.
The accident report related that Orion was driving a 2001 Ford truck south on Highway 218 when he rear-ended a 2003 Toyota, operated by Dakota Biggs, of Swedesburg.
Damage to the vehicles was estimated at a collective $2,500. No injuries were reported.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
