Drug violations in church parking lot
In a report released today, Henry County sheriff?s deputies observed a suspicious vehicle in the north parking lot of the Sugar Creek Church at approximately 3:08 a.m. on July 25 of this year.
The pickup truck and trailer at the church were found to be owned and occupied by Travis Lee Lorence, 36, of Washington.

In a report released today, Henry County sheriff?s deputies observed a suspicious vehicle in the north parking lot of the Sugar Creek Church at approximately 3:08 a.m. on July 25 of this year.
The pickup truck and trailer at the church were found to be owned and occupied by Travis Lee Lorence, 36, of Washington.
Upon investigating, several articles were seized from the inside of the Lorence vehicle and sent to the DCI labs for testing.
As a result of those tests, Lorence is facing four drug related charges; three misdemeanors and one felony. He is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of precursors with the intent to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine.
Lorence has been cited to make his initial appearance in court at a later date.
