Easter egg hunts planned March 31
A community Easter egg hunt with divisions for all ages is scheduled for 10 a.m. March 31 at Chautauqua Park.
In the event of bad weather, the hunt for candy and prizes will be postponed until 2 p.m. April 1.
Chautauqua Park will be closed to vehicles, so drivers will need to park on side streets.

The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department is cosponsoring the event with the Fairfield Lions Club and Fairfield Kiwanis Club.
An Easter egg hunt sponsored by Des Moines Ramblers 4-H Club also will be held at 10:30 a.m. March 31 at Libertyville Elementary School.
The Libertyville hunt is for children in preschool through fifth grade. Questions about it may be directed to Becky Goehring at 641-693-8951.
