Election paperwork available for Mid-Prairie school election

The election paperwork and candidate guide for the upcoming Nov. 2 school board election are now available on the Mid-Prairie school district website.

The first day that paperwork can be filed is Monday, Aug. 23

The last day that paperwork can be filed is Thursday, Sept. 16 at 5 p.m.

Candidates need to obtain at least 50 signatures using only the nomination petition form.

The Washington County Auditor's office encourages candidates to obtain more than 50 signatures in case signatures are challenged and subsequently thrown out.

Election paperwork must be filed with Jeff Swartzentruber, Mid-Prairie business manager and board secretary.
