Fair parade route starts, ends at high school
The annual kickoff parade for the 2009 Greater Jefferson County Fair will step off at 6:30 p.m. today from the Fairfield High School parking lot.
Parade coordinator Denny Thomes said the parade route from the high school will be west on BROADWAY Avenue past Central Park, then north on Main Street and east on Briggs Avenue past the Jefferson County Courthouse and back to the school.
