Fairfield Art Association announces exhibit winners

The Fairfield Art Association recently held its annual Celebration of Art and Artists with its members and the public in the Main Gallery of the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.
A highlight was the announcement of the four Outstanding Award Winners in this 59th annual Membership Exhibit. The juror Ann Klingensmith selected and provided a critique on each piece: Sabrina Odessa won for her photograph "Blizzard" taken in a Fairfield Alley; Jessica Kirby from Ft. Madison won with her oil painting "Fancy Meeting You Here;" Local artist Asya Weigert won with "On the Edge," an oil painting; and Pulaski, Iowa artist Gin Lammert won with a soft pastel titled "Of the Principalities Tribe".
Those in attendance could vote for their "Favorite Art Piece" which Donna Sturm won for her "Summer Concert on the Square," a watercolor of Fairfield Square.
The current exhibit remains up for viewers to see until March 25. The Fairfield Arts & Convention Center building is open to the public daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
