Fairfield arts center to host organist Karen Black
FAIRFIELD — Fairfield Arts & Convention Center will present a free concert with organist Karen Black on April 21 at 7:30 p.m.
Presented as part of the Barhydt Organ Spotlight Series, organist Karen Black is the Rudi Inselmann Endowed Professor of Organ at Wartburg College and is nationally known for her historical organ expertise, with an emphasis on hymns and sacred music.
The Barhydt Organ Spotlight Series features master organists and pianists that show the beautiful Barhydt Organ and Steinway grand piano at their finest.
Admission is free. Voluntary donations will be accepted at the door ($10 suggested).
