Fairfield chamber announces new website

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the launch of its new website: www.FairfieldIowa.com.

In a news release issued Wednesday, Fairfield Chamber Executive Director Mendy McAdams said the previous website, while functional, was not always easy to use or find information.

“That is not the case with the new one,” she said.

The chamber stated that its primary goal in the redesign was to create a more valuable, user-centric and responsive resource across all platforms and devices.

“We wanted to focus on making it easier for our users to learn and locate valuable information about the chamber and our members,” stated the news release. “Recognition of sponsors is more visible on each event and we will be able to link to their websites.”

The new design is user friendly and reacts to whatever device the visitor is using. The chamber logo colors make the site bright and modern. It also allows for photos and videos. The new calendar feature allows one to see what’s happening each day with the most current items on the homepage. It will make finding events and businesses easier as well as allow for more sponsorship options online, the chamber stated.

“A new website was overdue,” said McAdams. “The new one is fun and full of extras that I think our members will love. I am so excited for the community to visit. The new website allows us so many more options to promote, connect, support, and celebrate all our members.”

Chamber member Neapolitan Labs has been “working diligently” to update the site to accommodate all the chamber functions, the news release stated. Neapolitan Labs offers full-service web development, marketing, and advertising focused on businesses and organizations including counties, cities, and chambers of commerce.

The chamber invites visitors to explore the new website.

“Check out the calendar and upcoming events section to see what’s coming up in our community,” stated the chamber.
