A snow emergency will be in effect for the Central Business District in Fairfield beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4. On-street parking is prohibited between Second Street to B Street and from Washington Avenue to Hempstead Avenue between 8 p.m. and 9 a.m. This is in effect until 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6. or until the street is plowed curb to curb.
