Fairfield High School earns numerous awards at FBLA conference

Over 600 secondary and post-secondary students interested in business careers attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference from March 31-April 2 at the Hyatt Regency Coralville.
Students attended general sessions, educational workshops and with over 1,400 competitive event entries in over 100 different competitive events.
Fairfield High School took 21 FBLA members to the state conference and had great results.

“Nineteen of our 21 FHS FBLA students placed at state,” FBLA Advisor Deb Matthews said. “I am very proud of my members. I feel like I have the best group of students to work with.”
Iowa FBLA Executive Director Kent Seuferer added, “These students are truly the face of future business leaders. They competed in activities that showcased not only their business knowledge, but their leadership skills. Congratulations to the students and their teachers for their hard work and preparation.”
