Sep. 26, 2021 11:52 am
Last week was Homecoming Week at Fairfield High School.
Students showed their school spirit by dressing up on themed days, including a western wear day.
Other homecoming traditions are the iron man volleyball games and the powder puff football games.
At Thursday night’s pep rally at Trojan Stadium, the senior girls took the powder puff crown by defeating the sophomores 12-8.
The pep rally featured the crowning of the homecoming king and queen: Grant Ward and Anna Dunlap.
Other members of the homecoming court were Nick Kaska, Ethan Hunger, Dylan Hunter, Evan Haines, Nate Smithburg, Mallory Lyon, Sarah McAvan, Danielle Breen, Brynley Allison and Kelsey Pacha.
Homecoming Week culminated with a parade Friday afternoon and the homecoming football game, where the Trojans beat Keokuk 38-13.
