Fairfield Hy-Vee partners with Lord?s Cupboard
The Lord?s Cupboard of Jefferson County and Fairfield Hy-Vee Food Store will partner the weekend of Sept. 10-11 to raise donations to help those in need.
In the ?Fill a Cart, Do Your Part? campaign, Hy-Vee cashiers will be asking customers at check-out, if they would be willing to add $1 to their total purchase to support the Lord?s Cupboard.

The Lord?s Cupboard of Jefferson County and Fairfield Hy-Vee Food Store will partner the weekend of Sept. 10-11 to raise donations to help those in need.
In the ?Fill a Cart, Do Your Part? campaign, Hy-Vee cashiers will be asking customers at check-out, if they would be willing to add $1 to their total purchase to support the Lord?s Cupboard.
?Hy-Vee and the Lord?s Cupboard have teamed up for the last 10 years through donations and discounts,? said Randy Menke, Fairfield Hy-Vee Food Store director. ?The Hy-Vee team is excited to help in the continued fund raising efforts that aid those in need throughout Jefferson County.?
The event is the second installment in the quarterly ?Fill a Cart, Do Your Part? campaign.
The Lord?s Cupboard, serves as Jefferson County?s sole emergency food pantry, providing non-perishable food items and other essentials to those in need.
