Fairfield jazz group to play in Washington Thursday

The Fairfield All-Star Jazz Band is scheduled to play in Washington’s summer concert series Thursday night in Central Park, according to the Washington Chamber of Commerce.
Led by Jim Edgeton, the Fairfield All-Star Jazz Band comprises 17 talented musicians who come together to explore a diverse range of musical genres, spanning from swing to rock to Latin, according to the chamber, which said the musicians of many backgrounds all, “share a common passion for music and the joy it brings.”
