Fairfield legislative forum planned for Saturday

The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce will host the second legislative forum of the year Saturday.
The event will be from 7:30-9 a.m. at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center, the same location as the January forum. It will feature the county’s four state legislators, who will give an update on their activities at the Capitol and answer questions from the public.
The four legislators invited to attend are Iowa House Representatives Jeff Shipley and Joe Mitchell, and Iowa Senators Adrian Dickey and Jeff Reichman.
The question and answer session will again be moderated by Ian Bee, marketing and community relations manager with Jefferson County Health Center, and current Chamber Board Member. Coffee and doughnuts will be provided to participants. These events are free and open to the public.
If interested in the opportunity to ask a question during the Q&A part of the event, residents are asked to form their question around one of the following topics listed below.
