Fairfield Loop Trail bridges look nice after recent staining
The Jefferson County Trails Council has announced that it has finished further improvements to the bridges along the Fairfield Loop Trail.
Bridges located in Chautauqua Park, near Middle Glasgow Road, and over Highway 1 North have been stained by painting contractor Gary Nelson. The stain protects the wood from ultra-violet rays and increases the bridges’ longevity.
Funding for the staining came from the Jefferson County Trails Council and the Greater Jefferson County Foundation.
