Fairfield man sentenced to 10 years for 2008 accident
KEOSAUQUA ? Harley Cook, age 23, of Fairfield has been sentenced to 10 years in prison and ordered to pay $150,000 to the estate of a Birmingham man killed in a vehicle accident in 2008.
Cook pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in February and was sentenced last week in Van Buren District Court in Keosauqua.

Cook pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in February and was sentenced last week in Van Buren District Court in Keosauqua.
Darrell Andrew Gonterman, 22, was a passenger in the 1997 Nisan Maxima owned by Cook, which crashed about 8:07 p.m. Jan. 18, 2008, just west of Stockport on County Road J16, known as the Birmingham-Stockport blacktop.
