Fairfield Marching Band Showcase Friday
The community is invited to support the Fairfield High School and Middle School marching bands by attending the band showcase at 7 p.m. Friday, at Fairfield High School Trojan Stadium.
The event is free and open to the public.
Both marching bands will perform, showcasing both music and marching developed throughout the preceding days of evening band camp rehearsals.

The community is invited to support the Fairfield High School and Middle School marching bands by attending the band showcase at 7 p.m. Friday, at Fairfield High School Trojan Stadium.

Both marching bands will perform, showcasing both music and marching developed throughout the preceding days of evening band camp rehearsals.
The Fairfield Middle School Band is under the direction of Mary Andersen and comprised of 100 students in seventh and eighth grades.
The high school marching band is under the direction of Jim Edgeton and Aaron Adam and features 123 students in grades nine-12.
In addition to the music performances, individuals and families can renew Band Aides, band boosters, annual memberships, purchase Band Aides apparel, receive the fall edition of the Band Aides Newsletter and hear plans for the upcoming band year.
Fairfield Band Aides and several generous sponsors provided treats for the middle and high school evening band camp rehearsals in appreciation for the long hours the students worked.
The 2013 business sponsors include Dairy Bar, Jefferson County Health Center, Medical Arts Clinic, Shawn McCarty State Farm Insurance and The Sweet Spot.
Family sponsors include Shawn and Detra Dettmann, Scott and Stephanie Holderbaum, Fred and Sue Hucke, Stephen and Elizabeth Kelley, Andy and Lori Mueller, Joe and Mary Phipps and Darien and Roberta Sloat.
Fairfield?s Marching Band Showcase is sponsored by Fairfield Band Aides, a nonprofit organization supporting instrumental music programs in the Fairfield Community School District since 1999.
